Meet Our Founders

Home Help Hire Qld was founded by Amanda & Graham Caracciolo, a father/daughter duo, in order to help create customised and specialised support for Amanda's child with complex disabilities. Once learning of the many parents who faced very similar challenges, Amanda & Graham set about creating a support facility to ensure children with disabilities and different needs had as much opportunity to access sport, social groups, form friendships and access after school and school holiday care like any child without disabilities.

Amanda's focus shifted to skill development as social groups formed, as she has worked alongside psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, counsellors and child development specialists for over 10 years.

Amanda is a dedicated mum, general manager and support to many who face similar challenges and barriers to the many systems we exist in.

Amanda & Graham work together to design and deliver the business strategy, structure and execute the responsibilities of providing services to the most vulnerable cohorts of people in the south east corner of Qld.

Graham brings with him over 50 years of business skills having been in business director roles. His experience was initially in manufacturing, then moved into retail and finally food distribution. He has worked for himself his entire life, and attempted retirement in 2015.

Amanda has worked in a variety of roles from multinationals, to Australian retailers, small to large businesses. She has a range of qualifications including:

Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching

Bachelor of Business

Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management

Advanced Diploma of Human Resource Management

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Amanda regularly completed professional development workshops run by professor Tony Attwood and Dr Michelle Garnett to stay current with developments in neurodiversity. Amanda and her son are both autistic, and this centre was built to provide a safe and inclusive place for people with disabilities where her own son could not be discriminated against.

Our Vision

Empowering individuals with disabilities to thrive in their homes, communities, and support centre. Creating inclusive environments for learning, growth, and social interaction.

We work on functional skills so our clients can build their capacity to live independent and full lives in the community.
