Monday Transport

Transport training is a skill building group  designed to build confidence, comfort and skills in using public transport. We teach our clients how to access the public transport systems, and build their capacity during the term. This group is a good lead into our holiday excursions in the city, where we practice these skills in the wider community.

Tuesday Science

Our science program is designed to teach children the fun in science. Each term we will theme a program and create activities, experiments and teaching opportunities for the children which open up their sensory world and engage their imaginations. We underpin this with emotional regulation  skills and social skill building.

Wednesday Soccer

Our soccer program is not for elite athletes - we use soccer for our kids to get into the community, learn some rules and games they can apply in other environments, and to give them a good reason to exercise! We take this opportunity to promote good hydration, healthy choices, movement and fresh air in the community.

Thursday Cooking

Our cooking group is always fun! We focus on 3 key recipes each term, teaching the children a base recipe and variations of it, so they can learn through repetition. Our group learn and practice skills in a safe and supported manner, then get to eat their creations! We are teaching the joy of cooking and the benefits of learning this life skill. During this time we also demonstrate to the children how to troubleshoot, how to cope when things don't go to plan, and how working together can help us achieve a common goal.

Friday fun! This is an afternoon chill group to wind down after the week. we teach social skills, environmental regulation, waiting, teamwork, social behaviours and basic ordering and cash handling skills.

Parent cost for this is for food at the bowling alley - kids can eat what they want, the art is learning to order in a busy and noisy place.

Parent Cost $10/week

This is a 1:1 supported activity. leaving from The Warehouse and returning for a 5:30pm pickup or a home drop off.

Saturday Socials

We support fun!!! Each term our theme changes and our children work through a series of activities all build around the term theme - this way they are learning while they are meting their sensory needs and having fun. There are art activities, science days, baking, creative play, dresses, face paints, swimming in our heated mineral pool, climbing and building - so much fun. And woven through that we help our kids make friends.

This is 1:1 or 1:2 supported depending on the child's needs.  Age range 4-14yrs.
